Amit Pahwa, MD

Dr Amit Pahwa is an Assistant Professor in both the division of  Adult and Pediatric Hospital at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Pahwa obtained his medical degree at the University of Alabama before completing a combined residency in pediatrics and internal medicine at Indiana University. As a hospitalist, his academic areas of interest include medical education and high value hospital care. At Johns Hopkins he serves as the director for the internal medicine subinternship and  associate director for the pediatric core clerkships. He co-directs several courses at the medical school including Foundations of Public Health, Health System Science Core Theme.

Anna Costello, MD

Anna Costello is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and a Pediatric Hospitalist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she completed her residency and chief residency. She loves medical education with a specific interest in medical Spanish and clinical reasoning. Outside of the hospital, she is an avid reader, painter, and soccer player.

Megan Murphy, MD

Megan Murphy is a pediatrics resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She grew up in New Jersey and attended medical school there. She loves the outdoors and especially enjoys activities like fishing, camping, and kayaking. She has an adorable black lab puppy that she adopted during quarantine. His name is Kieran. As for her future career plans, Megan is planning to apply for a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology Oncology.

Celine Arpornsuksant

Celine Arpornsuksant is currently a medical student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is interested in a pediatric subspecialty in the future, though is currently undecided as to which one. In her free time, she loves hiking at Patapsco State Park, reading books, and looking for new restaurants to check out for her Baltimore-based food Instagram account. She is the webmaster for the NJLA podcast.

Joshua Morris

Josh is a newly minted graduate of Dell Medical School in Austin, Texas and about to start as a first year Med-Peds resident at the University of Kentucky. As a former teacher and graduate of UT's MA in Design in Healthcare, Josh loves finding a niche in the overlap of medicine, education, and information design. Outside of medicine, Josh loves running, yoga, cooking, being a cat dad, and all things science fiction and fantasy.

Andrew Olson, MD

Andrew P.J. Olson, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota, where he practices hospital medicine and pediatrics. Andrew's work focuses on improving diagnostic reasoning and how expertise develops - and he loves a good case! He serves as the Co-Chair of the Education Community at the Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine and also serves as the Head of the Section of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine and Director of Medical Education Research and Innovation at the University of Minnesota's Medical Education Outcomes Center. A proud husband and father, he lives in the Twin Cities with his wife and three daughters as well as a very enthusiastic yellow lab. When not nerding out, he enjoys hiking, baseball, and snowstorms.

Carly Blatt, MD

Carly Blatt is a pediatrics resident at Johns Hopkins Children's Center. She loves all the babies, so she is planning on pursuing a career in Neonatology. Her other interests include medical education research and teaching clinical reasoning skills. She hopes to work with medical students some day in a faculty role. She is fascinated by a good patient case and you'll often find her listening to podcasts on diagnostic dilemmas on her runs. When not busy in the hospital, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking and cheering on the Orioles and Ravens!

Dana Goplerud

Dana Goplerud is a med-peds resident at the Johns Hopkins. She's a proud member of the Hopkins Primary Care Leadership Track and is interested in a career in med-peds. She's passionate about harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and the influence of social policy on intergenerational health. When not studying, she likes to salsa dance, bake, and play with her cat Charlie.

Dhruv Srinivasachar

Dhruv Srinivasachar is a med-peds resident at Western Michigan University. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (the Medical College of Virginia for all the veteran attendings out there). Introduced to medicine through research, Dhruv has shifted his passions to empathetic clinical care and medical education, as social media manager and team member for the Not Just Little Adults podcast and contributor to the CPSolvers (especially through VMR as a case presenter, discussant, and compiler of cases). When he’s not at the hospital, he can be found biking, gardening, and cooking.
